Trapshooting is fast growing high school sport

Minnesota is home to plenty of people who enjoy the sport of trapshooting, but you may be surprised to learn it’s actually the fastest-growing high school sport in the state.

Jim Sable started the program in 2008 with students from Orono, Wayzata, Minnetonka and Hopkins.

This coming school year, about 3,000 students and more than 100 teams around Minnesota will be competing.
